In order to broaden ASUS Notebook services, customers can now receive complete service repair protection once their warranty expires. This can be done with an additional purchase of ASUS Warranty Extension Package as introduced from this date onwards.

We strongly recommend you to purchase ASUS Warranty Extension Package when you are buying ASUS branded notebook.

After you have registered online, your notebook will be extended from standard warranty period of two years to three years. This will save possible repair cost and precious time in the third year as well as ensuring your notebook will continue to perform at its peak conditions. This Service Package is most suited for family, office, and SOHO clients.

Purchasing
WEP must be bought and activated within the first 30 days of ASUS Notebook purchase. If your notebook warranty has expired, you will not be eligible to purchase and use this Service Package.

ASUS Warranty Extension Package Service Policy
1    After you have purchased and validated this Warranty Extension Package, your warranty will be extended automatically from two years standard to three years.

2    This ASUS Warranty Extension Package is specially designed for ASUS brand notebook customers. The Warranty Extension Package can be activated within the first 30 days of your Asus Notebook original purchase date (the notebook p urchase receipt or other proof of purchase may be required).

3    The warranty extension package must be registered and activated online. If the online registration and activation of your warranty extension is not completed during the first 30 days of your Asus Notebook original purchase , your warranty extension package will expire and you will not be able to benefit from your newly purchased warranty extension package.

4    The 3-year warranty is effective from your Asus Notebook original purchase date. It only covers failures or malfunctions that occur during the warranty period and under normal use conditions, as well as any material or workmanship defects. The warranty will not apply if:

A)    The product has been tampered, repaired and/or modified by non-authorized personnel;

B)    The serial number on the notebook, components or accessories has been altered, cancelled or removed;

C)    The warranty seals have been broken or altered;

D)    There is damage caused by accident, natural disaster, intentional or accidental misuse, abuse, neglect or improper maintenance, or use under abnormal conditions;

E)    There is damage caused by improper installation or improper connection to a peripheral device (printer, optical drive, etc);

F)    There is damage caused by an external electrical fault or any accident;

G)    There is damage from use outside of the operation or storage parameters or environment detailed in the User's Manual;

H)    There is damage from use of parts not manufactured or sold by ASUS;

I)    There is damage to or loss of any program, data or removable storage media, or if there is costs involved in recovering any program or data;

J) There is damage from third party software or from virus(es); or

K) There is software loss or data loss that may occur during repair or replacement.

5    The Notebook battery is considered as a consumable part. Due to the natural loss of the battery capacity, there is only a one-year warranty offered on this item. The battery is not covered by this Warranty Extension Package.

6    Other free accessories and bundles (including but not limited to carry cases, mouse, and other free gifts) are not covered by this Warranty Extension Package.

7    This Warranty Extension Package also extends your standard international warranty from 2 years to 3 years.

8    Your Warranty Extension Package can only be purchased in the original country where you have bought your notebook.
